What is TBHK Manga Series About?
The series is also known as “Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun” in Japanese. “Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun” follows the story of a main character, Nene Yashiro, who studies in a high school afflicted by “Seven Wonders“.
She discovers that her school’s legendary “Seven Wonders” are not just myths. She encounters Hanako-san, a ghost of a student who died in a bathroom years ago. The ghost now resides in the girls’ bathroom and grants wishes to anyone who would summon it.

The author of Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun, AidaIro, is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator.
Not much is known about the author’s personal life as they prefer to keep their identity private. AidaIro’s real name and gender are not publicly known.
AidaIro debuted as a manga artist in 2013 with the one-shot manga “Futsutsuka Mono no Ani Desu ga” and went on to publish several other one-shots before starting Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun in 2014.
The manga has been serialized in Monthly GFantasy magazine, and as of 2021, it has been collected into 14 tankobon volumes.
In addition to Toilet-bound Hanako-Kun, AidaIro has also illustrated the light novel series “Kaidan Tochū no Big Noise” and worked on the manga adaptation of the anime series “Kemono Friends: Welcome to Japari Park!”.
